The Bird & Babe Public House
We offer pithy pontifications by the pint-full, and the best brain-food this side of Blogsford. There's no cover charge, and it's all you can eat/drink (although we strongly encourage moderation). Like any other pub, we always appreciate a good tip.

1) I concur with Aaron on the first photo, and I as well am extremely jealous. You better tell me that you attended an NT Wright lecture while you were there.
2) Is this the sign outside St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh?
I can't believe all of the places you've been. Let me know next time you have a business trip to somewhere cool, and I'll tag along (if my wife approves).
Fools...all of you. St. Giles, in Oxford, is where the Bird and Baby is located.
Ah yes! Anonymous, what you lack in charity you have in spades when it comes to trivia.
Although, I guess it was foolish to not see this. We should have known that it would have to do with the B & B. Durham Cathedral threw me off.
I had forgotten that the Eagle and Child is located at St Giles Street in Oxford.
I was beginning to wonder if I was in the right pub...But I was quite surprised how much you knew about the Durham photo (very good Aaron). Anonymoose saved the day.
Andrew, if you're serious, I'll let you know the next time I go somewhere interesting. (however, I wasn't on a business trip in these pictures, so don't get your hopes up too high)
Yeah, I know that back in 2004 you weren't traveling on business yet, but it reminded me that you get to travel a lot.
I'm serious (granted I can get the vacation time and the dinero for the flight), so let me know and we can work it out from there.
I waited...I was patient...But what's a brother gotta do to get some more pictures of the Eagle and Child ?
