The Bird & Babe Public House

We offer pithy pontifications by the pint-full, and the best brain-food this side of Blogsford. There's no cover charge, and it's all you can eat/drink (although we strongly encourage moderation). Like any other pub, we always appreciate a good tip.

That's right; I know you're all jealous.

And I think it's worth noting that great minds dress alike. See how we're both wearing blue shirts, and both of our ties are crooked?

Coincidence? I think not.

How did you get to be a contributor here without having read any N.T. Wright??! jk

Yeah, I would start with What Saint Paul Really Said; Following Jesus; and The Challenge of Jesus.

What Saint Paul Really said is good but not the best intro to NT Wright's thought.

I think the best place to start is The ORiginal Jesus. YOu could read it in an afternoon but it has the basic foundation of how he views Jesus and Christianity.

After that, The Challenge of Jesus.

Well, I'm just speaking from personal experience.

WSPRS was the first book I read by Wright, and all I can say is, if you're reading this Docter Rite, You had me at "What."

Hooray for the Bird and Babe! Our school is on lock-down and I would have been very bored without having something to read.

Andrew: that's pretty cool that you got N.T. Wright's autograph.

Andre: I just read The Original Jesus on Monday night! It's good! You can borrow our copy if you wish.
